Salvation, God's great gift, Jesus

A Jewish leader named Saul (Paul) met Jesus while traveling down a road. He wrote the book of Romans which is in the New Testament. The next reading below is called "The Romans Road to Salvation.".

Romans 3:23: All have sinned and fall short of God’s glory.

Romans 5:12: Sin entered the world because one man sinned. And death came because of sin.
Everyone sinned, so death came to all people.

Romans 6:23: When people sin, they earn what sin pays—death. But God gives his people a free gift—eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 1:20: For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.

Romans 5:8: God has shown us how much he loves us—it was while we were still sinners that Christ died for us!

Romans 10:9-10: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

Romans 10:13: Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Romans 5:1: Since we have been acquitted and made right through faith, we are able to experience true and lasting peace with God through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One, the Liberating King.

Romans 8:1: Those who belong to Christ Jesus are no longer under God’s judgment.

Romans 8:38-39: I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
